In January 2020, Excitech was acquired by Addnode Group, the owner of Symetri, Europe’s leading provider of software and services for design and engineering activities.

Spell checker was introduced in Inventor 2019.2, allowing users to spell check notes or texts placed in the drawing. In the latest 2020.1 update, this enhancement has been extended further to iProperties.
