We focus on continuous development both through regular training in the normal course of the working day as the need arises, and through specific skills courses depending on your job role. Whether you want to go upwards or sideways, we want you to progress at Excitech. The shape and direction of your development is up to you.

The career pathway

The objective of our Learning Development Programme is to continue to identify and open up career pathways so that if you have the talent then there will be no obstacles in front of your career advancement within Excitech. An important part of charting the course of your career pathway is our structured and regular appraisal framework.


Designed to help you improve your skills, the appraisal framework runs throughout the year.
You will sit down twice a year with your line manager for a performance review. In order to help you perform at your best, we take time and care to understand your challenges in a supportive and professional environment.

All new joiners go through a 6-month probationary period. We’ll make sure you have lots of opportunity to consult with your manager and others as necessary as the period progresses.
