Training Course Description
This course aims to introduce the candidate to the different Space Inventories available in the Space Management Module. All functionality of the Space Management module will be covered. Including Alternative Space Inventories, background data, asset areas and space reports. The creation of DWG and DWF related drawings and reports in ARCHIBUS. |
Training Course Prerequisites
This course is designed for the new user of ARCHIBUS Space Management module. The following prerequisites apply:- Previous attendance of an ARCHIBUS Basic database course. Full Understanding of AutoCAD software. Competent in the use of MS-Windows. An understanding of Facilities Management (CAFM) concepts and design. |

- Creating New and Opening Space Projects.
- Creating Background Data.
- Developing Space Areas.
- Developing Vertical Penetration Areas.
- Developing Service Areas.
- Developing Room Areas.
- Developing Group Areas.
- Linking drawings to database
- ARCHIBUS/FM Process toolbars
- ARCHIBUS/FM Overlay toolbars
- DWF DWG creation (version 16.1/16.2 specific)
- ARCHIBUS/FM drawings into reports

- Editing and Cataloguing Asset Layers.
- Add and move employees.
- Create Occupancy Plans.
- Generating Standard Space Reports.
- Querying Asset layers.
- Understand and develop Charge Back Methods.
- Determining Charge Areas.
- Creating Archibus/FM layers in the overlay.
- Attaching layer assets and cataloguing assets to the database.
