Excitech’s hardware support service allows for rapid recovery leading to less downtime for your organisation if hardware fails.

Excitech’s hardware support provides guaranteed peace of mind against the failure of computer components and peripherals.

Excitech hardware support not only covers repair or replacement of hardware components but can also include the reinstatement of any software and data affected where necessary by our engineers.


Hardware Support Services

Below is a summary of our range of hardware support services:


Time and Materials

Time and materials calls are on-site calls, where the engineers time and any materials used, are paid for at the conclusion of the call.

Warranty
Warranties provided by the manufacturer can be recorded and managed by Excitech, keeping all of your support requirements on one, easy to understand contract.

Warranty Uplift
Designed to supplement the manufacturer’s warranty, this provides a safety-net when a warranty claim renders the equipment unusable. An engineer will attend site and re-commission the equipment, returning it to a usable state.

Hardware Support
An Excitech Hardware Support contract is a traditional on-site maintenance contract that diagnoses and replaces faulty hardware. Ideal when the manufacturers warranty expires.

Service Only
Service only contracts, provide the response of a contract with the cost of the engineers time included in the contract, but any parts needed are not included and are paid for as needed.



Placing a Service Call

Should you need to place a hardware support call, contacting Excitech could not be easier. The helpdesk is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday providing support by telephone, fax and email.

Problem Solving

Once the call is in our system we will attempt to diagnose the fault over the telephone. If a simple replacement part, such as a mouse or keyboard, is required it will be dispatched directly to site where it
can be fitted quickly and easily.

Site Visits

If the fault cannot be resolved easily over the telephone, an engineer will be booked to attend your site. We aim to have an engineer with you within one working day of your call.
