| Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis 2010 is collaborative, versatile, and fast software to help you compete and win in structural design and analysis. Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis calculates a wide range of models with exceptionally powerful finite element auto-meshing and a comprehensive collection of design codes, delivering results in minutes, not hours. Seamless, collaborative workflow and interoperability with 3D bidirectional links to Autodesk companion products, together with an open application programming interface (API) provide a scalable, country-specific analysis solution for many different types of structures, including buildings, bridges, civil and specialty structures. |

Benefits
|
- Software Collaboration: Smoothly import and export structural models between Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional software and Autodesk Revit Structure software with the Revit Extensions for Revit Structure analysis integration tool. Bidirectional linking helps enable more accurate structural analysis and design results to be updated throughout the building information model for more coordinated construction documentation.
- Open and Flexible API: Uses Microsoft COM (Component Object Model) technologies, enabling an open and flexible API (application programming interface) which can be used to integrate external programs such as Microsoft Excel or AutoCAD, extract results direct from the software or writing post processing software, such as special codified analysis for steel, concrete, timber, and aluminum.
- Auto-meshing and Modeling Capabilities: Powerful mesh generation techniques help enable a structural engineer to work more easily with even the most complex models. Native automatic mesh generation and manual definition of meshing parameters can be manipulated independently for each panel. This provides the ability to create a high-quality finite element mesh.
- Wide Range of Analysis Capabilities:Investigate the linear and true nonlinear behavior of any structure. The software helps enable a simpler and more effective analysis of many types of nonlinearity, such as P-delta analysis; tension/compression members; and supports, cables, and plastic hinges.
|
- Fast and effective analysis of any structure type or material, specifically designed for smaller, less complex projects.
- Enhanced collaboration with architectural and structural detailing applications, and BIM support.
