Autodesk Maya 2012 software delivers new toolsets for pre-visualisation and games prototyping, extended simulation capabilities, and improved pipeline integration. Artists can more easily explore, refine, and present their ideas prior to o final production, thanks to a high-fidelity, high-performance viewport; node-based render passes; camera sequencer enhancements; and new camera rigs, while editable motion trails make animating easier. With new physics solvers, together with enhancements to the Nucleus unified d simulation framework, artists can create a wider range of convincing effects in less time. In addition, added support for vector displacement and Ptex maps and single-step interoperability with Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites products deliver smoother multi-application workflows.
