| Revit Structure 2008 |
Autodesk Revit Structure integrates a multimaterial physical model with an independently editable analytical model for efficient, accurate, and flexible analysis, design, and documentation.
Create models from scratch or import architectural files, whether industry-standard 2D format or from AutoCAD Architecture (formerly Architectural Desktop), Revit Architecture (formerly Revit Building) or IFC files.
Bidirectional linking to popular structural analysis software enables accurate model updates, while parametric change management technology coordinates those updates throughout your design documentation. Complete your construction documentation using specific and typical details in Revit Structure. Export models in several widely used formats, including DWG, DXF, DWF and IFC.
Revit Architecture Suite 2008 provides the benefits of both Revit Architecture together with the industry standard platform of AutoCAD 2008.

Curved Beams
Create horizontally and vertically curved beams based on arcs, ellipses and splines. Apply analytical hard-points for supported members.

|
|
 |
Beam and Column Openings
Opening by face; vertical, dormer, wall and shaft opening with and without radii of opening as well as addition of stiffeners. |
Structural Parametric Trusses
Truss family for constraining beams and braces in a wide range of formats such as Fink, Howe, Pratt, Warren, Scissor etc. |
 |

|
Warped Structural Concrete Slabs
Modify concrete slabs to include multiple slopes, set variable or constant thickness for the slab material. |
Dependent Views
Effectively manage large annotated plans across several dependent views; using automated matchlines and view references. |
 |
 |
Element and Category Graphic Overrides
Easily control the display settings of individual elements using the improved graphical overrides and Hide/Isolate tool. You can now override cut and surface lines and patterns for model categories giving the structural engineer far more control of the graphic fidelity of their drawings. |
The New Group Editor
The workflow for creating and editing groups has been completely overhauled. You can create or edit a group using the new group editor. Whilst you are creating or editing a group, you can use the element creation tools on the Design Bar to place additional elements (such as a window or door) to the group. Also you can now convert groups to linked Revit modelsand you can convert linked Revit models to groups. |

Autodesk Revit Structure and Revit Structure Suite provide powerful tools for structural engineers for design, analysis and documentation whether the original designs have been sourced in Autodesk Revit or not.
