Advanced Document Workflow (ADWF)

   
ADWF offers a rich set of workflow features that can be implemented through configuration. Features such as configurable workflow, parallel review, logging and email notification allow for complex workflow implementations without the need to resort to programming. ADWF has been developed in response to InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise being used more and more in ever-larger implementations in the asset management environment where advanced workflow features have become much more important. This major product enhancement also meets increasing regulatory demands for more stringent document management procedures (design, implementation and auditability).
     

Fast access to all your documents

   
  • Locate and verify the correct versions of documents in a fast and reliable manner

Find Relevant Documents with Full-Text Search

   
InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise 2006 introduced the possibility to execute ultra-fast full text searches on document contents and document attributes. Full text search is implemented using Microsoft Index Server technology and file type specific filters.
     

Microsoft Outlook Integration

   
A toolbar inside Microsoft Outlook enables the storage of email and their attachments directly into the InnoCielo vault. With InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise 2008 and above, Microsoft Outlook integration is accompanied by the new InnoCielo Email Manager module. This module provides automated handling of emails via configurable rule sets. Email messages and their attachments can be automatically classified and stored in the InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise vault. The InnoCielo Email Manager is compatible with all email servers that support the common IMAP protocol, amongst which are Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes servers.
 

Folder Types

As another new feature, Folder Types offers configurable property pages, wizards and commands on folders in the InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise vault. The properties of folders are inherited by the documents they contain even in lower levels of the Explorer folder structure. Folder Types can be used to organise documents in intelligent groups. For example: all assets related documentation can be stored in an asset folder, or Folder Types can be used for projects, where project-related documents are grouped in a project folder.
 

User Management

InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise (2008 version and above) provides the capability to define users and groups in combination with Microsoft Active Directory, facilitating integration in large enterprises. Users and user groups can both be replicated from corporate user data present in Microsoft Active Directory and can be created directly in the InnoCielo Administrator utility without burdening corporate user administration resources.
