Consulting - Assessment
Assessment covers the analysis of the customer's current design systems, processes and project types; the current organisational, project and/or design goals (where relevant to design technology and processes) as well as what opportunities there may be that they have not yet identified; then an assessment of what actions, products and processes they will require to achieve the desired goals. |

Process Review
Reviewing the current use of design technology would include how software is used, the type of projects, existing CAD standards, team structure and other relevant information to determine the best way to achieve the goals.
Excitech's experience gained in different design disciplines, working on a diverse range of projects and with a variety of organisations provides us with the expertise to assess current processes against best practice. |
 |
Skills Analysis
To ensure best use of current or chosen software, Excitech can carry out team and individual skills’ analysis so that training (be that formal classroom-based, workshop, online, personal study, etc.) can be targeted to the exact and agreed requirements.
This may include use of Autodesk Certification Tests or other prescribed testing methods to provide a standard means of assessment before and/or after training is delivered. |
|
Technology Review
As design technologies evolve so quickly, it can be difficult to keep abreast of current and future developments; and the additional advantages they may prove.
Excitech’s unique position allows us to assess an organisation’s current technology and advice on potential technology such as Building Information Modelling (BIM)/Common Data Environment. The use of these more advanced or sophisticated design technologies can, when implemented to best advantage, deliver significant improvements to productivity and quality particularly with regard to collaboration with other project partners, and also future developments which may impact on the business. |
 |
Skills, processes and technologies can, in a competitive market, aid differentiation and provide opportunities to match a clients requirements and aspirations and so win more business.
