The Services
Consultancy
This is both the core and most important
component of Excitech's CAFM services.
It includes system and database advice
and set-up incorporating a full report and
methodology document for discussion and
agreement prior to the commencement
of any further required services.
CAFM Services consultancy may also
define the current manual and digital
data validation necessary for the correct
implementation of your CAFM system,
such as existing AutoCAD floor plans or
existing asset registers.
Measured Surveying
Excitech database population
services
include measured surveying with automated
conversion to AutoCAD and checkdimension
surveying including vertical
measurements for conversion to 3D.
Surveying services enable the easy and
accurate delimitation of GIA, NIA and core
areas. The resultant AutoCAD drawings are
a perfect style for easy room/department
and structural delimitation.We use the
latest direct-to-digital on-site surveying
methods, ensuring that the surveys are
accurate prior to leaving the building.
Our surveying service includes asset
surveying, furniture surveying and M/E
surveying - all provided in AutoCAD format
to standards for use in Archibus.
Creating accurate graphical and alphanumeric
data from the outset is achieved
through good measured surveying and
space mapping, both of which Excitech
value as core services on which most
companies would not use their internal
resources.
Database Population
Following consultancy and/or
surveying
we will have defined the space data parameters
(tables, fields, data relationships and
levels) the data collection and data entry
phase can commence.
Collection of space utilisation data (i.e.
occupancy) can be particularly political;
so Excitech, as an independent party, use
sensitive ways to identify what space the
different Lines of Business and Cost Centres
occupy. Alternatively, Excitech can work
from your space data and build upon this.
Either way the objective is a good, accurate
basis on which to start populating the
database via graphical and alphanumeric
means.
The implementation of Planned
Preventative Maintenance and Help Desk
solutions also requires the initial input of
large amounts of existing and historical data
which Excitech can fulfil.
Audits
Excitech offer various types of auditing;
from annual CAFM systems and database
audits provided as part of a full database
population to one-off space audits that
provide a full space portfolio containing
floor plans and required reports - detailed
and summary - for your facility.
A one-off audit
can also be useful to measure the data accuracy
of your existing
CAFM system.
Reporting
All reports are delivered in the form of
bound A3 or A4 portfolios inclusive of
reporting, methodology documentation
and delimited floor plans; high quality for
high level presentation.
Not only do our CAFM solutions and services
meet the reporting criteria of many sections
of ERIC, they also provide on-going management
of NHS Trust Estates, from PPM and Help Desk,
(including Condition Survey data management and
reporting), to AutoCAD and database driven Space
and Asset management for either simple cost analysis
and strategy generating or move management involving
key aspects of relocating people and assets.
